Why We're Here

Our Story

Our Founder, Charlie, has personal experience of feeling the need to hide his sexuality whilst doing the big lap of Australia.

Charlie made it his mission to bring about a world where LGBTIQ+ people feel free to express themselves authentically and feel that powerful feeling of belonging on holiday. Developed through community research from over 1,000 LGBTIQ+ travelers, Welcome With Pride’s programs directly reflect the voices and real-world needs of these diverse communities.

As a thought leader in LGBTIQ+ inclusive tourism, Charlie has delivered inclusivity training to thousands of businesses in partnership with industry leaders such as ATEC, Hilton, Destination New South Wales, and Tourism Western Australia.
